Cleveland Park Events Center
Falls in people ages 65 and older are among the most common injuries in that age population. As a result, many seniors are unable to remain independent.
The Stay Active and Independent for Life (SAIL) program is a free fall prevention program that includes a one-hour, twice-per-week group fitness class where all participants work at their own pace. Anyone over the age of 50, including those who use walkers or canes, can participate in the SAIL program.

Gibbs Cancer Center – Pelham is a box pickup site for pre-ordered FoodShare produce boxes provided by Mill Village Farms.
Online orders at millvillagefarms.org/foodshare. Choose Gibbs Cancer Center - Pelham as the pickup location. Boxes can be picked up from 3 to 6 p.m. on posted Tuesdays. The cost is $20 debit/credit or $5 if using SNAP EBT cards. These boxes are available to patients, the community and staff.
Stop the Bleed

Spartanburg Medical Center Trauma Care Services is hosting a Stop the Bleed training.
Minutes count! Someone who is severely bleeding can bleed to death in as little as five minutes. That’s why bleeding control is the purpose of Stop the Bleed training.
This 60-minute formal presentation is followed by hands-on practice to ensure participants feel confident in their ability to Stop the Bleed.

Join us on the second Tuesday of each month for an opportunity to connect with others who understand the challenges and experiences of a breast cancer diagnosis. This supportive and welcoming group provides a space to share experiences, exchange encouragement, and build meaningful connections with fellow breast cancer patients and survivors.
Research has shown that support groups can help reduce feelings of stress, anxiety, and isolation while fostering resilience and emotional well-being.
The group is facilitated by Gail Ebert, MMFT, LMFT, CAMS-II, CPC, of Illuminate Therapy, Spartanburg.
This program is available to breast cancer patients and survivors at no charge.

Head and Neck Cancer Support Group

Attendees who have violations of the child passenger occupant law on their records can receive a certificate of completion as proof of participation. This class is only offered once for child passenger occupant violations.

Adding color to your plate with plant foods is one of the most effective ways to feel your best. Colorful Cooking at Home is designed to inspire, educate, and showcase how simple and delicious dishes can be. Join host Culinary Medicine Coordinator and Registered Dietitian Kerri Lindberg as she navigates different topics and dishes with the common theme of color.
Prostate Cancer Screening - Spartanburg

One in seven men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer, the second most common non-skin cancer in the United States. A new case is diagnosed every 3 minutes, but if caught early enough the 5-year survival rate is 100%.
Do you qualify for this screening?
- Are you a man aged 50-70
- Do not have insurance
- Have not had a PSA draw in the past year
If you meet the above criteria, you qualify for this screening. The screening consists of only a blood draw, and results are provided in 7-14 days. Registration is required for this event.
Virtual Cooking Up Confidence Series

Grief Support Group

The Grief Support Group for infant loss was created to promote grieving as a natural part of life; however, we as humans are hard-wired to form attachments, to love and to live within a web of relationships.
We invite our parents in the community who have experienced an infant loss to come be a party of a group that will allow you to grieve within a community, where you can gain strength from the support of others. Joining us monthly for a refreshing beverage while offering a chance for a small number of people who are grieving to come together sharing stories, talking about experiences with grief and supporting one another.
