Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System is partnering with Aetna to offer Aetna Medicare Advantage plans.

Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System is now accepting the Aetna Medicare Premier℠ Plan (PPO), which will provide access to Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System and its more than 500 providers. This expansion of Aetna's current Medicare Advantage network will include Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System and its employed physicians.

“We are happy to have this partnership with Aetna which will help provide coverage for our community,” said Paul Butler, senior vice president of population health with Spartanburg Healthcare System. “This collaboration will strengthen the healthcare experience throughout our coverage area.”

Individuals can enroll during the Medicare Annual Enrollment Period from Oct. 15 to Dec. 7.  The effective date of the plan will be Jan. 1, 2018.
