Toys aren't just a fun part of childhood. They give children opportunities to explore their world, to expand their imagination and nurture their creativity.
But some toys can be dangerous for a child, if they aren't age-appropriate or designed for that stage of life, according to Jack Cleland, MD, a pediatrician with Medical Group of the Carolinas — Pediatrics —North Grove.
“One of the biggest questions that I get throughout the year is, ‘What kind of toys can I get for my kids?'” Dr. Cleland said.
